HOW LONG IS THE ALLIGATOR PRESENTATION SHOW?
Even though the airboat tours are exhilarating, we also believe in raising awareness for our rescued alligators and providing them a sanctuary. These alligators have been removed from pools, garages, backyards, and even bedrooms throughout Florida.
Our in-demand alligator show lasts anywhere between 15 and 25 minutes. The Gator Boys will wow you with tricks, demonstrations, stunts, and so much more, including a wealth of information about wild alligators!
The Gator Boys have been featured on Animal Planet with their own show that follows the sometimes harrowing experiences of professional trappers who handle nuisance alligators with care and precision.
CAN I TOUCH A LIVE GATOR?
Not only can you touch a live gator at Everglades Holiday Park, but after the presentation by our expert animal handlers, you can actually hold a baby alligator and get a photo to show your friends! This process is completely safe. The alligator’s mouth is taped shut (don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt the alligator!), but that doesn’t mean you won’t feel the power and strength that the alligator in your hands wields.
ARE ALLIGATORS FORCED TO PERFORM IN ALLIGATOR SHOWS?
The opposite is actually true. Our alligators who participate in the show are rescued and cared for by the Gator Boys Alligator Rescue team. This means the team feeds the gators, cares for them, cleans their habitat, and creates a clean, beautiful, and natural environment for them to live in. Every gator show is animal-friendly and cruelty-free. In fact, some of the alligators completely ham it up for the audience. They’re not shy of the spotlight!
